Houston Ballet

Houston Ballet, founded in 1955, is the fourth-largest ballet company in the United States, with deep roots in the Vaganova tradition. The company made history as the first American ballet company invited to tour China in 1995, with broadcasts reaching an estimated 500 million viewers. Over 60% of its professional dancers are graduates of the Houston Ballet Academy, which provides world-class pre-professional training.
