About
The Ruth Page Center for the Arts was founded in 1970 by the legendary Ruth Page and occupies a historic 1926 building in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. The center is a true incubator for the arts - Lookingglass Theater Company and Chicago Shakespeare Theater both got their start here. The Ruth Page School of Dance offers an unusually diverse curriculum for ages 3–20+ and the center's 218-seat theater and annual Ruth Page Festival of Dance at Ravinia give it international reach.
