A.V.A. Ballet Theatre is Northern Nevada's largest professional ballet company, operating as the resident company of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Under Artistic Director Alexander Van-Alstyne, the company produces three classical ballets and one rock ballet annually, plus The Nutcracker.
