Pacific Northwest Ballet, founded in 1972, is one of the largest and highest-regarded ballet companies in the United States, with a deep Balanchine heritage. Under artistic director Peter Boal, the company maintains 49 dancers performing over 100 shows annually at the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. PNB's DANCE TO LEARN outreach program reaches more than 20,000 community members each year, cementing the company's role as both an artistic and civic institution.
